Tsuburaya Productions and TRIGGER’s brand-new animation SSSS.DYNAZENON had a special event held at Tokyo Comicon 2020, where they announced the release date and unveiled a second promotional video, new poster, and information about the staff, characters, and cast members.

SSSS.DYNAZENON PV2

The second promotional video features music by Shiro Sagisu and depicts newly revealed characters along with mechs and Kaiju appearing in the city. The video also introduces characters’ voices. Watch each character’s expression as they face the threat of collapsing buildings, powerful mechs, and Kaiju!

◆Introducing additional staff, characters, and cast members!

The newly introduced characters are Juga (Hiroshi Kamiya), Onija (Yuma Uchida), Mujina (Ayaka Suwa), Shizumu (Koki Uchiyama), Ms. Inamoto (Mariya Ise), Mei (Azusa Tadokoro), Awaki (Jin Ogasawara), Nazumi (Gakuto Kajiwara), Ranka (Rio Tsuchiya), and Kaneishi (Hikaru Tono).

The featured designed of Dynazenon was done by Tsuyoshi Nonaka, while the Kaiju designs were done by Shinji Nishikawa, Yasushi Torisawa, Hiroshi Maruyama, Kiyotaka Taguchi, Hideo Okamoto, Ichirou Itano, and Masayuki Gotoh, a star-studded team of designers. Gen Asano was also announced as the mechanical sequence director.

◆New information revealed for SSSS.GRIDMAN and GRIDMAN UNIVERSE!

New information about SSSS.GRIDMAN has also been released. In February 2021, the series will be rereleased on TOKYO MX and BS11. A BD-BOX is also set to go on sale February 17, 2021 (Wed) in Japan.

Additionally, Takara Tomy will also participate in GRIDMAN UNIVERSE, the massive developing project centered on the stories and worlds of SSSS.GRIDMAN and the brand-new SSSS.DYNEZENON, developing motifs and visuals through goods and videos. Toys for Gridman the Hyper Agent were designed and sold by the company formerly known as Takara while the show aired, so keep an eye out for further developments.

With the broadcast date finally revealed, things are getting more and more exciting for SSSS.DYNAZENON. Please look forward to more news in the future!

[GRIDMAN UNIVERSE Overview]

SSSS.GRIDMAN is an original 2018 animated series created by Studio TRIGGER based on Gridman the Hyper Agent, a 1993 live action Tokusatsu series, that crossed the boundary between anime and Tokusatsu fans and garnered a massive following. Many of the main staff members involved with the series have continued on to work on the latest project, SSSS.DYNAZENON.

GRIDMAN UNIVERSE is a massive developing project centered on the stories and worlds of SSSS.GRIDMAN and the brand-new SSSS.DYNEZENON, developing motifs and visuals through goods and videos.

Takara Tomy is also set to join this ever-developing project. The company formerly known as Takara was responsible for designing and developing toys for Gridman the Hyper Agent while the series was airing, making their participation is a “homecoming” 28 years in the making.
