“Character Winter Festival” countdown event was held on December 31, 2017 and January 1, 2018. Many popular characters in Korea and overseas gathered in Seoul, South Korea. In wishing for the success of the PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games, a large balloon Ultraman Orb on a snowboard appeared at the event.

The Ultraman Orb balloon was exhibited at KTX Gangneung station until the middle of January after the countdown event, and supported the athletes all over the world participating in the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

At the event venue, in addition to Ultraman Orb, many popular Korean characters and overseas characters gathered.

A variety of programs such as large balloons and flash mobs relating to the Winter Olympics competitions entertained many citizens and tourists, in which the event was a great success.
